2 Year Photos
My little girl turned 2 this month! It seems like just yesterday that she turned one. We celebrated with a cake and a couple friends and had a great time. A couple days before her birthday, I took some photos of her with her two pink balloons (the only thing London kept asking for when we asked what she wanted for her birthday). We had a nice time over by the lake and bridge - Check out some of her photos below!
**Update on sessions: I am completely booked up through when we move! Thank you to all my wonderful clients. I'll make sure to let you know if I get anymore openings. :)

Day at the Park with London
.jpg)
A couple weeks ago, I took my daughter to the park so we could take some 22 month photos. As you guys know, I'll be having another baby soon and so I figured it would be a good time to take some solo pictures of London before all the newborn craziness begins. ;)
Luckily, London not only loves the park, but also enjoys getting her picture taken. For the most part, I just followed her around while she played and was able to get some very sweet photos that I know I'll treasure forever. Of course, after a bit of photo taking, the camera was put away so we could really spend some good quality time together. :)

Don't you just love her bow?! I got it from Sunny Days Boutique. Check it out for more cute bows and bowties. (I am not affiliated with this company at all. She's an old friend of mine who is just really good at making cute bows.) ;) |

London's Christmas Tree Session
I know it's the end of January... But, I really wanted to share with you some last-minute Christmas pictures I did with London before we took off for vacation. I've been a little behind on our personal photos and am trying to get all caught up before Baby Girl comes.
These pictures were kind of just taken spur of the moment one afternoon. London had just taken a bath and was in her Christmas pajamas. She was still talking up how much she liked playing with the ornaments awhile back (check out those photos here). I knew that I wanted to try and get some Christmas tree photos with her at some point, so I figured we might as well play around and see what happens.
I laid a blanket on the ground around the tree for her and put a few ornaments on the ground as well and then just kind of sat back while she played with everything. Luckily, our little girl is pretty gentle with everything so I didn't have to worry too much about our [plastic] ornaments or tree. She really loved touching the ornaments and holding one every once in awhile. Towards the end, she got out some photo books and I gently directed her to look at them while she sat by the tree. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how well these turned out and I hope you enjoy them as well!

London's Christmas Photos
I wanted to share the Christmas photos I took of London for our Christmas cards this year.
I took these photos in our room around dusk. I hung up the Christmas lights behind her and had a string of lights down in front of her as well. Then we got out our [plastic] ornaments and just let her play for as long as she liked.
London had a blast! She loved seeing the lights and holding the ornaments. She talked about it for weeks afterwards how she got to "play with ornaments" and how "Momma put up lights".
It was such a fun little shoot with my little girl!

Corona Del Mar
A couple months ago we had a really rough day. We were still working on the whole transition to one nap and so I had a very grumpy toddler. We did what anyone would (or at least should) do and headed to the ocean for some much needed bonding/happy time. It helped sooo much! Plus, I got to take these beautiful pictures of London. ;)

18 Month Photos
Now that I'm all caught up on client photo sessions, I thought I'd post a few posts on some of my personal pictures. These are from my daughter's 18 month "birthday". She got to get all dressed up in her new tutu from The Tutu Cute Shop (a friend of mine from high school started this super cute online store- feel free to head over to her Facebook page to check it out!) and her new flower crown that I made. Then we headed down to the lake and bridge and she got to run around. It was so much fun and the lighting was just perfect!
